Annual billing is ten months' price for twelve.
Does the Free plan expire?
No. It is a plan, not a trial. Two active proofs and 1 GB, for as long as you like. There is no countdown and no card required to start.
What counts as an "active proof"?
A proof you are still working on — draft, waiting for your customer, or waiting for you after they asked for changes. Approved and archived proofs do not count. Finishing a job frees the slot.
That is the whole point of the limit: it measures work in progress, not work you have done.
What happens when I hit the limit?
You cannot start a new proof, unarchive an old one, or reopen a finished one until you archive something or move up a plan. Everything already there keeps working, and so does every review link your customers hold.
The same applies if you move down a plan while above the new limit: nothing is taken away, you simply cannot start more until you are back under it.
What do my customers pay?
Nothing, and they never see a price. They open a link, review, and approve. They do not need an account.
Who charges me?
Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. They take the payment, calculate any tax due where you are, and issue the invoice — so their name is what appears on your card statement and on the invoice. Your contract for the service is with AGVA-Plusz Bt.
Prices are shown in US dollars. If you pay in another currency, your bank converts.
Is tax included?
Prices are shown before tax. Any VAT or sales tax due is calculated at checkout from the country you give, and appears on the invoice from Dodo Payments.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my work?
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Future charges stop.
Nothing is deleted. Your proofs stay readable, your customers' links keep working, and your approval records are kept indefinitely. Uploaded files are kept for at least twelve months, and you would get at least 30 days' notice before any of them were removed. The Data Retention Policy sets this out in full.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Dodo Payments under their process. If something has gone wrong, write to support@proofavo.com as well — we would rather hear it from you than read it in a chargeback.
Will the price change?
If it does, you will hear from us before it affects you. Beta participants have a specific price guarantee, set out in the Beta Terms.
