Ziflow publishes its prices, which is more than several of its competitors do. What the published table does not tell you is which row you belong in, and that is usually the expensive part.
Every figure below was read from the vendors' own pricing pages on the date shown. Prices move — Ziflow's own moved twice in five weeks in 2026 — so treat this as a starting point and check before you buy.

The tiers
Checked 2026-08-13.
| Tier | Price | What bounds it |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2 users, 2 GB, unlimited proofs |
| Standard | ~$249/month | up to 15 users |
| Pro | ~$399/month | more users, more of the platform |
The entry price moved mid-year. We recorded about $199 on 2026-07-19 and about $249 on 2026-08-13. Any comparison article older than a few months is quoting a tier that may not exist under that name any more — check what a tier is called as well as what it costs.
The free plan is better than its reputation. Two users, 2 GB and unlimited proofs is a real working tier. If you are one person sending a handful of proofs a month, that is the honest recommendation — and we are a competitor saying it.
Where per-seat pricing meets a production shop
Ziflow's tiers are bounded by user count, and that is a sensible way to price an agency: the people using it are the people employed by you.
A print, sign or promo shop has the opposite shape. Two or three people inside, and a long tail of customers, their colleagues, a landlord, a franchise office, a supplier contact — all of whom need to see a proof and say yes, and none of whom are your staff.
Two questions decide whether a per-seat tier fits you:
Do external reviewers consume seats? On most platforms they do not, which is the important thing to confirm rather than assume.
What happens when the third internal person joins? On a tier bounded at 15 users the answer is nothing, until the day it is the whole answer. Per-seat pricing is cheap while you are small and stops being cheap exactly as things go well.
The complaint that recurs in Ziflow's own public reviews is not about quality — it is rated 4.8 across 417 Capterra reviews — but about fit: "costly for smaller teams... when licensing is based on the number of seats", alongside a learning curve proportional to a feature set built for enterprises.
Filestage and GoVisually, for comparison
Filestage (checked 2026-08-13) — free plan of 1 active project and 5 new files a month with the full product; €199/month Starter; €329/month Business. The €329 figure is widely quoted as "Filestage's price" and it is the Business tier, not the entry. The full argument is on our Filestage alternative page.
GoVisually (checked 2026-07-19) — $16/user/month, the simplest pricing in the category. Worth knowing before you commit customers to it: external reviewers are asked for a name, email and password behind the link, which is a pseudo-account by another name.
The full field, with who each tool actually suits, is our roundup of online proofing software.
What we charge, and why it is a different shape
Ours, so read it as an argument rather than a report.
Proofavo prices the workspace, not the people: flat from $29.90/month, with a free plan, unlimited internal people on the paid plans, and reviewers who never cost anything — because on print work the reviewers are the customers, and charging for them is charging you for being busy.
What you give up for that price is scope. No video, no website proofing, no workflow builder, no Adobe plugin, no SSO. One loop: upload artwork, send one link, collect pinned comments, record an approval bound to the exact file with a downloadable record and a SHA-256 fingerprint.
If your bottleneck is an enterprise creative-operations problem, Ziflow is the better purchase and this page has told you so. If it is "my customer approved something and I cannot prove which file", the narrower tool costs a fraction and does that part properly. The longer comparison is on our Ziflow alternative page, and you can run the whole loop in the live demo without signing up.
